Looking Forward

Hello Alyce,

It was good to see you at Woodford, however, brief. It was my first time and I was blown away by the magic and beauty. It was this awe inspiring mass of sights, sounds, colour and beautiful people. It would have been nice to hang out with some Murbah peeps though. I saw some others too. Lauren from our grade ( who now lives in Sydney ), Ben ( very briefly ) , Camilla ( grade above us ), I also met heaps of new people, which is always fun. The first night I was there was the best for me. I had been up the past couple of days celebrating Christmas in Sydney then had to travel up north, but as soon as i got there I just found all this energy to push on an i was so happy and proud of myself for being able to do so. I saw a few cool acts that night but most notably; Oka (amazing to dance to )  and Wacko and Blotto ( just wow, what the fuck? )

My camp was pretty bad in terms of how organised everyone was. I mean I was fine and well prepared ( My bag weighed 34 KGS!! ) I had to pay extra to be able to board the plane! Most of my friends were satisfied with a ‘A’ change of clothes and cash. In retrospect I know I did take a little too much but, my thinking was better to be prepared than be sorry. Right?

Anyway... Woodford was the most amazing experience of my life and I look forward to doing it all again at the end of the year.  : )

How was Woodford for you? You said it felt different this year?

Happy New Year Alyce  : )

Leah xx
